2 New Interactive Features for 2012

Coaster Critic Updates

While there won’t be a full face-lift of the site like I typically do in the off-season, I have added two interactive features that should be fun.

Ask Me Anything
I’ve received a lot of questions over the years. Everything from the obvious favorite theme park and favorite coaster questions to questions about setting up websites. I found myself answering the same questions over and over again.

So, I thought it’d be a good idea to post the questions and answers somewhere. On the Ask Me Page there’s a form where you can submit questions along with (what will be) a list of past questions. I added one of the most common questions to start things off. Visit the Ask Me Page and read my response to how anyone can become a roller coaster critic.

The Return of the Forums
I’ve decided to bring back a Forums area. It’s meant to be a place for topics not covered on the blog. I aim to keep it small and simple. Hopefully, it’ll be manageable. And, as with the comments, I won’t allow any inappropriate comments, personal attacks, or foul language. Head on over and there and let me know what you think. Go to the CCB Forums.

What’s Your Take?
What do you think of these features? Leave a comment below.

  1. Awesome! I'll definitely be checking out your suggestions on how to start my own site. Im up to 20 reviews for all types of rides and even parks and I need somewhere to put them!

  3. Thanks to those of you who've become members on the forum page. Can one of you post something so that I can make sure that it works?

    Thanks!
