Theme Park Fun

Attraction Awards Coaster 101Coaster101 recently posted the results of their 2013 Attraction Awards. The categories were refreshingly different covering topics like amusement park Twitter accounts, logos, mascots, and more. While the results have already been announced, I thought it’d still be fun to look at the categories and contenders.

I won’t give away the results, but there’s quite an upset in the Favorite Mascot category and I couldn’t agree more with the winner of the Coaster with the Best Natural Setting. Which one would you pick? Here were the nominees:
Beast (Kings Island)
Boulder Dash (Lake Compounce)
Iron Rattler (Six Flags Fiesta Texas)
Nemesis (Alton Towers)
Phantom’s Revenge (Kennywood)
Tatsu (Six Flags Magic Mountain)
Thunderhead (Dollywood)
Twister (Knoebels)
Wild Eagle (Dollywood)
Voyage (Holiday World)
