Medusa Steel Coaster - Six Flags Mexico - 2014
Medusa Steel Coaster Loops - Six Flags Mexico - 2014Six Flags Mexico recently announced that they’ll be overhauling their Medusa roller coaster with a Rocky Mountain steel conversion like New Texas Giant at Six Flags Over Texas and Iron Rattler at Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

If you’re not a fan of these wooden roller coaster transformations then you might want to just cover your eyes for the next decade or so. It looks like they’re here to stay. Well, at least Six Flags believes in them.

Here’s a full POV video of Medusa Steel Coaster at Six Flags Mexico:

  2. My only problems with this ride are the name and where it’ll be located, Mexico is too far out of reach, and with the cartel problems that they have, it’s not exaxctly the best place to go (no offense to anyone who lives there). But other than that, it looks like it could possibly be the best RMC coaster to date. The drop feels like something that they copied off of the Smiler at Alton Towers, which isn’t a bad thing by any means, and SFM did need a standout attraction, and this fits the mold perfectly, at least Golaith is opening at SFGAm.

  3. CoDace, I live in Mexico City and we dont have any kind of Cartel problems. Its a beautiful place you should totally meet. those things you hear on the news happens at north or other states. But in Mexico city (where Six Flags is) you only have to worry about having a great time. Trust me on this one 🙂
